Promotion system

Student promotion to the next grade is determined by a cumulative assessment that considers a variety of factors throughout the academic year. This includes performance in booster and terminal examinations, oral assessments, projects, classwork, homework, and participation in extracurricular activities. To qualify for promotion to the next class, students must meet a minimum benchmark of 40%.
Additionally, practical tests in subjects such as English, Nepali, Science, and Computer Science are administered before each terminal examination. This comprehensive approach ensures that promotion decisions are based on a well-rounded evaluation of each student’s academic abilities and overall engagement in the learning process.

Presentation Classes

We regularly organize research and presentation classes aligned with the syllabus to enhance students' confidence and communication skills. These presentations allow students to showcase their innovative ideas and conclusions, both individually and in groups. After each presentation, participants receive constructive feedback and engaging inquiries, fostering a supportive environment for growth and improvement.

Pedagogical Approach

At the core of our educational philosophy is a student-centered and participatory approach to pedagogy. Our primary objective is to empower learners by helping them recognize and harness their inherent potential. To achieve this, we employ a variety of eclectic methods, diverse techniques, and situational strategies tailored to the specific needs of the subject matter, as well as the age, abilities, and interests of our students.

Management of Human Resource, Academic departments and Faculties

We have professional, dedicated and competitive teaching and non-teaching staff so as to accomplish the goals of this organization. Moreover, we believe that the overall performance of the organization entirely depends on the caliber and creativity of human resources. Considering this reality, FSS has managed academic departments viz English and Social Science Department, Mathematics Department, Science Department, Nepali Department and Computer and Information Department. These departments are composed of Head of Department (HOD), Subject Experts, Subject Facilitators and other faculty members. There is constant interaction and sharing of ideas and experience among them pertaining to classroom teaching and learning.
